This project comprises a two-way speaker built using a 40+ year-old kitchen drawer.
Drivers Used
Tweeter
Dayton Epique EC30-4 high-resolution ceramic dome tweeter.
I chose this tweeter due to its broad frequency range and strong performance at frequencies approaching and exceeding 20 khz.
Frequency response: 1,500 hz to 40,000 hz.
Woofer
Dayton Reference Series RS150-8 aluminium dome woofer – 6 inches.
Frequency response: 47 hz to 4,200 hz.
I chose this woofer for its strong overall performance (especially with regards to accuracy), low distortion and a great price-to-performance ratio.
