Google is launching a foldable version of their Pixel phone. The company has not released any specifications as yet. However, the phone is expected to have a 7.6 inch tablet that folds into a 5.8 inch phone.
The phone — called the Pixel Fold is expected to feature a Tensor G2 processor and cost $1,700. For comparison, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 starts at $1,800. Both are well outside the normal price range for conventional phones, and are most likely appealing to customers who value the large screens, but who also want them to fit in their pockets. However, that is an enormous price to pay to be able to carry a tablet in your pocket.
Further details about the Google Pixel Fold are likely to be revealed at the Google I/O 2023 event.
