If you fell victim to Netflix’s password sharing crackdown and had your access revoked, you can now transfer your profile to an existing Netflix account. You no longer have to create a new Netflix account to do this.
If you use the watch list, personalized recommendations, watch history, and other features that are profile-specific then this feature may be useful to you. The Netflix password sharing crackdown has been targeting users who share their Netflix accounts with friends and relatives that don’t live in the same house.
The crackdown comes after Netflix’s 2022 price hikes and is most likely part of a broader effort to increase revenue. To transfer your Netflix profile to another account, hover over your profile icon in the drop down menu, click ‘Transfer Profile’, and then follow the instructions provided.
